Josephine is based in Hobart, Tasmania, where she enjoys spending time on the coast and in nature with her two sons.

Jo graduated from UTAS with a BFA specialising in Graphic Design and Printmaking, and for the last 20 years she has been working a Graphic designer in Boutique Design Studios across Sydney, Perth, Auckland and San Francisco. In 2012, Jo went on to run a successful gift/homewares brand Laikonik which she sold in 2018. She returned to her birthplace Tasmania in 2016 and her first love, printmaking/textiles.

Her design work has been showcased at The Big Design Market, boutique retail stores, and Art Galleries across Australia. Jo has won Best Australian Made Product at Life InStyle and was featured in Meet the Maker at Westelm Sydney.

Jo’s collections reflect her Fine Arts/printmaking background and her carefully curated colour palettes are inspired by her strong love of nature. Her designs speak of simplicity, raw beauty and organic themes. Inspiration comes from clever, thoughtful design with a sustainable focus in mind.
